A visit of the Eremitage in Bayreuth is always rewarding. This time even more as I had the chance to see it with different (infrared) eyes. The Eremitage is a very large park including some small castles at the outskirts of Bayreuth. It was founded by the Bayreuth Markgraf Georg Wilhelm at the beginning of the 18th century and further extended by the Markgräfin Wilhelmine.
Spring is the ideal time for beautiful infrared images, as everything out there starts to be green and juicy again. And when you can capture the sunlight in the early morning or late evening then you are rewarded with astonishing images, as then the proportion of infrared of the sunlight is the largest. If you even have the luck to have some pretty clouds in the sky or a peaceful lake before you then it becomes a real dream, as you can see in the images below.
