In the park with Isabell
During my stay on Zingst I could get again some shoot-atmosphere. But now I also had a wonderful model here in front of my camera. Isabell and I did choose as location the park Theresienstein in Hof and time did pass so quickly. The weather was also on our side, as we had bright sunshine and warm temperatures! (more…)
How to make great portraits “even” with flash
Already last week I have shown you some IR Images, which I took during my visit of the “Horizonte Zingst”. But I also tried to educate myself a bit on the foto festival and what would have been better for this than visiting a workshop of Martin Krolop about the right use of flash and reflectors to do beautiful portraits. Originally I tried most times to avoid the use of flash, but in the last time I already realised – that it is not completely useless. 😉 (more…)
Zingst and sourroundings in infrared
At the end of may I was for the first time on the half island Zingst at the Baltic Sea. And what a coincidence that exactly then the “Horizonte Zingst” – a huge environmental foto festival took place. 😉 Zingst and the festival are fantastic, but this will have to wait till another time. I’m still completely blown away, as the Zoo in Hof has again some Meerkat Baby. The little one is about 2 weeks old. I will be able to show you surely more photos soon, so consider this a little teaser.
Waterbirds at the winterly Stadtweiher
Finally its springtime here with warm temperatures. So its hard to image that only three weeks ago its was still freezing cold. Also at the Kemptener Stadtweiher was still snow and ice, but the waterbirds didn’t care. (more…)

Zoo Hof – Virtual Tour (beta) II
The virtual tour for the Zoo in Hof has already made great progress, but also not leaving much time for other stuff. Beside the much more appropriate overview map, I included many photographs directly into the panoramas and also some original sound from the zoo. If someone feels like having a virtual walk through the Zoo in Hof you will have a chance on the virtual tour page! Of course I would be very happy about feedback and the best experience you will have in full-screen mode!
